I would have no hesitation in telling anyone that I both rate and respect what you do. John Campbell, Palawan Productions |
James had worked for us on several occasions and has produced two DVD's for us which have been well received. We have used him for filming, camera work and still photography and his work is of a great standard. He is extremely reliable, great to work with and I would thoroughly recommend him. Alison Godfrey, Chichester Cathedral Restoration and Development Trust |
James Atkinson and his colleagues at JDA Media are ideal partners in producing professional DVDs for use in Portsmouth Diocese. With technical skill, creative flair and thoughtful composition they have helped us widely communicate the vision for our Ministry for Mission. Bishop Christopher, Bishop of Portsmouth |
JDA Media produces media of the highest quality at very reasonable prices. They have produced some first rate work for me and it is a pleasure to work with them. I commend them without reserve. Bishop John, Bishop of Worcester |
James has worked with us over a period of two years filming a variety of events and experiences that the school offers. He has contributed positively in an editorial capacity enabling us to put together a DVD that illustrates the ethos that we wished to portray. James has a calm approach to his work that enables him to easily disappear into the background. This is, of course, really valuable in an environment where distraction could easily reduce the quality of the very experience one is trying to capture. James is at ease with adults and children find him very approachable. He shows a good understanding of potentially sensitive issues associated with filming. We are delighted with the DVD that James has produced for King’s St. Alban’s and with the efficiency and responsive service that he offers. Richard Bellfield, Head, King’s St. Alban’s Worcester |
James Atkinson is a much valued free-lance artist who has been employed by the Music Pool to deliver workshops in his specialist area of film making. It has been a real pleasure to have James on board this project. His brief has been to make five films, each set in differing historical periods with a variety of secondary schools. I have found his skill and style to be ‘top notch’. He is very gifted at getting the children themselves totally engaged in the film making process; he displays a knowledgeable and confident yet affable and approachable personality which is very successful with the children. Catherine Gilling, Artistic Director, The Stonemason’s Tale Project, Hereford |
We have greatly enjoyed working with James. He has produced an excellent DVD for promotional purposes, showing a keen interest in the school and working hard to ensure the resulting video matched our clear needs and expectations. The children were happy to work with James and he went about all of his work most professionally. Jim Turner, Head, King's Hawford Worcester |
I am very pleased with the way Ian and James have set up this series of one-day community drama workshops for us. They had planned their workshop carefully, researching their background, and planning the costumes, props and equipment they would need. Their interaction with participants was superb: friendly, motivational, inspiring, and pitched at the right level. This meant that the end-results - an absorbing day-long drama workshop, and a thoroughly entertaining public performance - not had only educational value, but were engaging for participants and audience alike. I was impressed with James and Ian's multi-media approach, mixing live-acting with pieces filmed on the day, with music, and with shadow puppetry. As a member of the audience, I was entertained, and as a client, I was - and continue to be - very happy with their work. From a client's point of view, I enjoy working with Ian and James. Their approach is professional and competent and I would approach them again for future projects. Joanna Henshaw, Close Connections Learning Plan Manager, Hereford |
(With regards to the filming of the 2010 Pantomime at the Swan Theatre) Excellent camera work, clear images and intelligent editing. A thoroughly professional job - and nice people to deal with as well. Chris Jaeger, Chief Executive Worcester Live |
I was delighted to receive the DVD of the Chichester Festival of Flowers. What a wonderful DVD is is and the lovely music blends so beautifully with the displays and the readings of some of the poems. In all it is a real gem and a perfect permanent record of a very beautiful event from beginning to end. Sonia, Haywards Heath, W. Sussex |

JDA Media can offer photographic services for special events, such as wedding photography and video. "James and Gordon really made our wedding that bit more special, as they were with us from the beginning of the day, right until the end. The photos they took were unique and beautiful. They really did put us at complete ease, and having both natural photos taken and posed photos made the collection flawless. Looking at the photos brings back all of the immense emotions felt on the day, and this means that we will never forget one moment from the best day of our lives. We can't thank them enough!"
