College Marketing Network - Conference and Awards Evening

Since 2022, I’ve had the pleasure of providing video and photography for the annual College Marketing Network Conference and the FE First Awards - two linked events held on the same day, and always a long but incredibly rewarding one. Over the years I’ve enjoyed capturing the energy of the conference, the passion of the delegates and the workshops, and the celebration that unfolds during the awards evening.
This year my role was focused entirely on filming. Throughout the conference I captured highlights of keynote sessions, workshops, and networking moments. From this footage I produced a series of short videos, each with a specific purpose: a highlights reel showcasing the atmosphere and key moments of the day; a collection of vox pops featuring delegates and sponsors sharing their experiences; a sponsor‑focused video exploring why the event matters to them; and a piece promoting the wider value of the College Marketing Network itself.
Once the conference wrapped up, the focus shifted to the FE First Awards evening—a completely different mood, but just as enjoyable to film. From the arrival drinks to the final round of applause, I captured all the excitement and celebration. Afterwards, I created a highlights video of the evening, along with a special video featuring the “best of the best” college marketing team celebrating their wins.
It’s always a privilege to help tell the story of these events and to create content that the College Marketing Network can use long after the day itself. Each year brings something new, and I’m already looking forward to seeing what next year’s conference and awards have in store. Footage from this year's events will also be used to edit together short promotional videos to advertise next year's event.
